Words of healing from your spirit to your physical body
Positive Spiritual Affirmation { November 2024 } Friends, I share with you that Hurricane Milton was unnerving. But GOD's love was strong and I survived. I live in Tampa Florida, and we got hit hard. But then the United States Presidential Election day came and a quiet Truth became loud. The United States is a country filled with Hate. It is not just an emotion but a disease infecting the heart of this Country. The Disease of Hate Beloved, today we gather to reflect on a profound truth: hate is a disease that corrupts our hearts and minds, leading us away from the love of God. In 1 John 4:20, we read, "If anyone says, 'I love God,' yet hates a brother or sister, they are a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen." Hate, my friends, is not just a feeling; it is a poison that seeps into our souls, blinding us to the beauty of God's creation in one another. It isolates us, breeds division, and ultimately distances us from God's grace. When we allow hate to take root in our hearts, we are choosing to reject the very essence of God's love. Consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:43-44: "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Here, Jesus challenges us to rise above our base instincts, to heal rather than hurt, to embrace rather than alienate. Hate may feel powerful, but it is a weakness that denies us the strength found in love. Love is what God calls us to embody; it is the greatest commandment (Matthew 22:37-39). When we embrace love, we begin to see others through God's eyes each person a unique creation deserving of dignity and compassion. Let us remember that hate does not have the final word. Through the transformative power of God's love, we can heal the wounds that hate inflicts. We can extend grace to those who hurt us, creating a ripple effect of healing in our communities. As we leave today, let us commit to rooting out hate from our lives. Let us choose to cultivate love, understanding, and forgiveness. For in doing so, we align ourselves with God's will and reflect His light in a world that so desperately needs it.
